FINES FOR NON-ADMISSION OF GAS WORKERS TO THE APARTMENT WILL BE INCREASED TO 2 MILLION RUBLES

On April 2, 2024 a legislative draft that propose to increase fines for refusing to let gas service employees into an apartment or house during inspection  was reviewed by the State Duma. This is an important initiative aimed at ensuring the safety of residents and their real estate.

According to the new law, fines for refusing to let gas service specialists into an apartment will be increased fivefold. Now they will amount from 5 to 10 thousand rubles for individuals, up to 100 thousand rubles for officials and up to 500 thousand for legal entities. These serious amounts should encourage residents to be more responsible and attentive to the condition of gas equipment.

In addition, the law provides for liability for unauthorized installation of gas equipment. This is also very important, because improper installation of gas equipment can lead to serious accidents and endanger people's lives.

If a violation of these standards leads to an accident or a threat to people's lives, the fines will be even more severe. For individuals, they will amount from 50 thousand to 150 thousand rubles, for officials – from 200 thousand to 500 thousand rubles, and for legal entities – from 500 thousand to 2 million rubles. In addition, it is even possible to be disqualified for a certain period of time.

These measures are aimed at improving the security of buildings and apartments. We support this initiative. After all, people's health and lives are the most valuable thing we have, and they need to be protected by all available means.

It is very important to remember that the prevention of gas-related accidents begins with the proper operation and maintenance of gas equipment.

We hope that the new bill will be an effective tool to ensure the safety of our homes and apartments. Keep an eye on the implementation of this law together and do everything possible to create a safe living environment.

Take care of yourself and your loved ones, monitor the condition of the gas equipment and remember about safety measures!
