Developers may be required to demolish the objects of unfinished construction on time. The aim of the initiative is to resolve the situation with long-term construction, as well as to encourage developers to complete construction on time in order to use these sites for new projects.
At the moment, there are gaps in our legislation, which lead to the fact that the legal fate of long-term construction has not been resolved for decades.
Over the years, abandoned territories with dilapidated structures have turned into “ulcers” on the body of the city. However, experts say that the bill needs to be finalized at least.

“To be honest, I don't really understand how they want to make the mechanism of such a bill work, because if developers don't have the money to complete it, they go bankrupt, then the question is - what kind of money will they demolish?”
